二、主要教学工作
主讲本科生《动物学》、《发展中的生命科学》、《动物生物学》、《动物学实验》、《动植物野外实习》等课程。
三、主要研究方向
1、重要动物寄生虫类群物种多样性调查与DNA条形码研究
对我国重要动物寄生虫类群（包括线虫动物门、棘头动物门、线形动物门以及节肢动物门-鱼虱目）的区系组成进行系统的调查与整合分类学研究，并且构建中国重要动物寄生虫类群物种鉴定DNA条形码数据库。
2、重要无脊椎动物类群的起源与进化研究
整合形态、分子与基因组数据，从宏观和微观两个层面对线虫动物门、棘头动物门、线形动物门以及节肢动物门【多足亚门（倍足纲）和六足亚门（昆虫纲-隐翅虫科）】等类群高级阶元的系统演化关系、起源与进化历史进行探讨。
3、重要昆虫资源的开发与利用
研究一些具有重要食用、药用和观赏价值的昆虫和多足类动物的生物学特性，尝试建立规模化养殖和相关资源的深度开发和利用。
