学习经历：

1987年，东北师范大学生物系，硕士研究生毕业，获理学硕士学位

1982年，河北师范大学生物系，本科毕业，获理学学士学位

主要教学科研工作：

教学：主讲本科生课程《动物学（下）》、《动物学（下）实验》、《动植物野外实习》、《动物资源学》等，研究生课程《高级动物学》、《鸟类学》等。为《人体与动物科学》国家级教学团队和《普通动物学》河北省省级教学团队主要成员。

科研：从事动物生态学研究，具体方向有：（1）动物对变化环境的生理生态适应机制：以野生鸟类为研究对象，利用整合生物学方法和技术，探讨动物与环境的相互作用关系，以及相应的生理行为适应机制。（2）动物适应极端环境的生活史对策及进化机制：从宏观到微观水平，研究青藏高原鸟类对极端环境的适应及分子进化机制。（3）生物多样性及珍稀濒危物种保护：长期开展河北省生物多样性研究与动态监测、珍稀濒危物种保护等方面工作。现为河北省动物学会副理事长，河北省自然科学博物馆协会理事。
